Dhorpatan Club (formerly named “Dhorpatan Sports Training Club”) is a professional volleyball club situated in New Buspark, Gongabu, Kathmandu, Nepal which participates in volleyball tournaments and mainly organizes the huge and reputed volleyball events of both men and women categories.
Founded in 2003 A.D. (2061 B.S.), Dhorpatan Club is famous for it's active presence in volleyball world of Nepal with contribution of fourteen successful women's volleyball leagues, five successful men's volleyball tournaments, two 2A-Side men's volleyball tournaments and some local level volleyball tournaments.
History
[edit]Dhorpatan Club was founded with the purpose of training the interested people to become professional sports players that included . Since than, Dhorpatan Club is serving for the development of Volleyball in Nepal. Then on 2073 B.S, ‘Dhorpatan Sports Traning Club’ was renamed, redesigned and rebranded as “Dhorpatan Club” with the same purpose and more. A Decade and Four Years more, and we are still struggling and stumbling to raise up the level of Volleyball Game in Nepal. We are still trying to raise the quantity and quality of Volleyball Players - both Men and Women, in Nepal.
Dhorpatan Club is one of the reputed National Level Club, always been devoted for the Development of Sports in Nepal from Local level to the National Level. The Club has been organizing different tournaments in different season. Dhorpatan Women's Double League Volleyball Championship, Dhorpatan Men's International Volleyball Championship and 2-A- side volleyball competitions , National Level Badminton Competitions are the major competitions organized by the club.The Club has the history of winning the several prestigious national level trophies in different times.
Dhorpatan Club started from Scratch and now - Stands on the capital, making a different identity where people know us as the synonyms of Volleyball. So, we are still together with Volleyball and Socializing it as we Quote, “With Volleyball, Since 2003 A.D”.
Dhorpatan Club always admires the beauty of Volleyball Game.
