Vittorio Reggianini (Modena, 1858 – 1938) was an Italian painter. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Modena, where he became a professor[1]. In his career as an artist, Reggianini specialised in painting opulent genre scenes of upper class society. A contemporary of Arturo Ricci, Reggianini was part of a group of artists called the “Costume Painters”, and his works are notable for their vivid depictions of satin and silk fabrics worn by his subjects[2][3]. His works were popular on the international market and were sought after by American and British collectors.
