Life & Work

[edit]

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, I graduated from Connecticut College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Religious Studies, and studied abroad during my junior year in Paris with New York University. I received my Master of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I specialized is Post-Holocaust art responses. My thesis, "The Multivalent Tower of Faces at The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum," focused on the Yaffa Eliach photography collection on display in the Museum's Tower of Faces memorial exhibition. After finishing my master's coursework I moved to New York in 2012 to pursue a career in the museum field. I was previously the Jewish Museum's Senior Development Officer for Exhibitions, raising funds from foundations, corporations, and government agencies for the Museum's exhibitions and am currently the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations at the American Museum of Natural History.
