My name is Graeme Earl and I'm a Professor of Digital Humanities in the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College London. I'm also an archaeologist and I love all things MOOC, computer graphics, imaging, HCI and museums. I've worked on the Portus Project for many years, helping to record, analyse and share the Roman site of Portus in Italy. I also worked at Catalhoyuk for a while, and at Herculaneum in Italy and Quseir al-Qadim in Egypt. I was also involved in research in Australia relating to indigenous cultural property. My first postdoctoral work focused on Roman Spain, particularly around Seville. At King's I am continuing to focus on digital cultural heritage, but with a broader focus on digital design issues, the impact of digital/physical interfaces on cultural heritage research and education, and on issues of accessibility including multimodal interfaces.
