Village right forum is the forum of small and marginal farmers, unorganized workersWomen,men, and children's interests. The Forum is functional under the legislation act of Indian Business Association Act 1926. It has been formed for the benefit of rural poor and tribal people by the working, dedicated voluntary social group.It will work to improve relations between farmers and workers, their problems and to study and analyze the obstacles of development and to bring them to the main stream of the society. Gram Adhikar manch believes that the development of the society and country is dependent upon the hard work and sacrifice of the farmers and labourers. They contribute heavily to the building of the society and nation. They are the foundation of our society and nation. The society and nation cannot prosper if there is indiscrimination, oppression and injustice towards them. The country and society cannot reach the pinnacle of progress without considering the development of farmers and workers, this is a harsh truth and reality.
Gram Adhikar manch seeks to build a platform to organize and conduct different programmes for the benefit of the farmers and labourers and their dependents and uplift their social,economic, political, educational, cultural and ethical status.
Gram Adhikar manch objectives
1. To study, think and conduct various programs in collaboration with the Government and society for complete development of farmers, labourer and their families. 2. To collect information about their fundamental rights, laws that has been made for their welfare and government plans and to compile information about them and to work to reap benefits from them. 3. To work in collaboration with the government, society for the benefit of environment conservation, forest development. 4. Work in coordination with Government to attain the objectives of agricultural production, job opportunities of the workers, ideological and economic freedom of wormen and equal rights of honourable living so that there is improvement in standards of living of women. 5. To work for the exploitation-free society. By protecting, oppressing the violence, injustice towards the farmers, labourers women, child labourers. 6. To provide job opportunities for women, provide training so that they can work equally like men and contribute equally in the society. 7. To protect women interests. To consider measures to end practice of bonded labour, their liberation and rehabilitation. 8. To provide information about the culture of the nation and build a devotion, patriotism towards the nation. 9. Working to establish a society based on equality.
Activites of Gram Adhikar manch
1. Awareness and public advocacy 2. Study, survey and documentation – To work for the problems of the small and marginal farmers living in rural areas, landless labourers,womens and child labourers, and the problems of forest,land, water, health, education, spread awareness of the government programmes for their upliftment and make survey of the facts for the development plans of the government and perform documentation and do the following work after analyzing them. a. To initiate and address those problems before the central government and their officials and present papers and demand immediate action. b. Where the question of law arises follow the proceedings before the court and take action for redressal. c. Organize meeting , conference, use stickers, posters, talks, cultural programs, and aquaint the representatives of the newspaper media of the facts for publishing, and adopt other measures to spread awareness so that we get their cooperation to develop the condition of the women, children, farmer and village people and labourers and they become self dependent and make their own development. . d. To get our right, .take up the problems of wider public interests from the local court of justice to Supreme Court e. Youth Leadership Development Program To select youth and youngsters from village level who are interest in developing the village condition and develop their team to take up the problems at various levels and develop leadership skills at block level, district level and state level.
f. Education and Training Programs Gram Adhikar Manch trains its members to take meeting, gathering, camping, conference, paper magazines, rural excursions, group discussions, song, drama, etc so that they can provide knowledge, moral, ethical development and leadership qualities and ability to develop management aptitude. Gram Adhikar Manch trains its members in the following subjects i) Provide information in Land records, authority records, law. ii) Provide other information in police, forest, civil protection and other general laws of information and the information of Government programmes and other information related to life. iii) Arrange Primary education for backward class children. iv) Democracy training – discuss ideals and values of democracy and democratic practices.
