Born: Gregory Scott Glasson on December 6th 1974 in Princeton NJ. Bass guitarist. Gregory fell into music at the age of 7 on classical guitar and quickly found his bond with the bass through a high school friend. Honing a self taught skill of songwriting he quickly developed a knack for arranging music. In 1995 Greg dropped out of college at University of Maine and moved to Fort Collins Colorado to start a band with childhood friend Scott Rednor and a local singer songwriter Cory hubbert. Their first published CD was a hybrid live/studio disc called Jalopy. It was not a gem but it helped spread their music and build their following. The band went on to record two more records but only one "Back to that Day was released in 1998. The band toured relentlessely and did a tour as the opening act for Blues Traveler to support the release. Things eventually slowed down and Greg took a break from the Liza gig and moved north. He started a heavier band in 2004 with local Dover NH icons Nick Phaneuf, Jim Rudolph AND Paul Henderson where he still remains. With the release of Sixth Root in 2006 came notable awards from Garage Band.com for best Rock track award for "What is Real" and garnered the attention of producer Josh Harris to do a full length record in the Fall of 2007. . Most recently Greg Glasson has played bass with the grammy award wining artist SEAL live and in the studio and has played on over 100 studio releases to date as a session bass guitarist. [1]
