Tia Silao is an American Samoan association footballer who plays for FFAS Senior League club Pago Youth and the American Samoa national team.
Club career
[edit]In 2018, Silao played for Pago Youth FC B in the FFAS Senior League. He scored off of a freekick in a 2–3 defeat to Royal Puma and two goals on Matchday 5 in a come-from-behind victory over Green Bay.[1][2]
By the 2021 season, Silao had joined PanSa East. He was among the top scorers in the league that season with at least fifteen goals.[3] The following season, he returned to the first team of Pago Youth, scoring at least eleven league goals.[4] He remained with the club for the 2023 season.[5]
International career
[edit]Silao was called up to the American Samoa national team for the 2023 Pacific Games. He made his senior international debut on 20 November 2023 in the team's opening match against Samoa.[6] In the team's 11th-place playoff match against Tonga, Silao scored but American Samoa ultimately fell 2–6.[7]
