"Kairat (youth team)" is a duplicate composition of the Kazakhstan football club "Kairat" from Almaty.
History[edit]
In 1998, Kazakhstan began to hold tournaments of reserve teams of the Major League. That season Kairat football club played in the First League, won the silver medal and was promoted in the class. In 1999 the team of understudies for participation in the tournament of understudies is created.
In 2003, after the cancellation of the competition of reserve teams of the Super League created farm club "Kairat", which was declared in the First division. In 2005, the team won bronze medals at the south-west conference of the First League.

From 2008 to 2015 the team played in the tournament of reserve teams of Premier League clubs, with the exception of the 2009 season, when the football club "Kairat" played in the First League in football. In 2014, the team won the PFL Cup, and in 2015 became its finalist.
In 2016, the team "Kairat U-21" in the 23rd round ahead of schedule became the winner of the Second League of Kazakhstan in football. According to the regulations, the football club "Kairat" is obliged to put the team in the Second League, as a member of the Premier League. Thus, the team "Kairat U-21" could not reach the First League. Therefore, for these purposes, it was decided to recreate the Academy team. Football club "Kairat A" began its performance in the First League of Kazakhstan on football 2017.
In 2017, the team became the silver medalist of the Second League of Kazakhstan in football.

In 2003-2007, the team played in the stadiums "Dinamo" and "the Aviator."

From 2010 to may 2015, the team performs at the stadium of UTB FC "Tsesna", in 2012 renamed the stadium "Kairat".
In 2015-2017, the youth team holds its games at the stadium of the youth Academy "Kairat»
Since 2018, the team plays at the stadium of the Academy of FC "Kairat".
