Before studying Biomedical science at Greenwich Gulum went to Ilford County High Grammar School where he organised debates and discussions with the non-Muslim lecturers on issues such as “Women in Islam: A Question of equality,” “Terrorism and Islam” and “The system of Islam” amongst others. He is now the head of the Stop Islamophobia campaign at Greenwich.
