Gutapaka is a pogoro clan name found in the southern east of Morogoro region in Tanzania main land. This clan is specifically found in Mahenge, Ulanga district in a certain ward known as Mawasiliano, however, soon after Tanganyika's independency it spreaded to other nearest places like Kichangani, Lupilo, Minepa and Kivukoni within Ulanga as well as in the neighboring Kilombero district in some parts like Ifakara, Kibaoni, Mlabani, Katindiuka, Kilama, Kikwawira, Mbinguni and Mang'ura. Some of the clan members are found in Morogoro town, Pwani and Dar es salaam.
