Haafid Elmi is Somali author,researcher, analyst and founder And Executive director of Somali Expert and research foundation (the first Somali Henley Notions Positives based in Mogadishu). Elmi is a consultant in the department of social and technology. He has published more than 15 articles in variety of journals & websites. Elmi graduated from school of commerce in 2009-2010, and he earned BA in Business and Accountacy from SIMAD_University. He participated siminars and training about technology, research methodology and spss programes. He runs small certificate programs.
BACKGROUND Elmi grew up in Mogadishu Somalia He's fluent in Somali (native), Arabic and English.
Early life
[edit]Elmi was born in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. He is the son of a Sheikh from the middle region of Somalia. A Muslim,[1] Elmi's family is originally from Galguduud. His father left there with his parents to Mogadishu when he was 20 years old.
