Descending from a long line of hereditary folk musician ,he is the second son famous “padam shree sakar khan Manganiar.He continues to uphold his family’s treasured occupation as traditional caste musicians while also dexterously adapting to the world ‘s stage ,perfomaing on concert bills with many international musicians . He toured interntionally for the past fifteen years in cities such as paric ,Milan Rome ,Sydney ,San Paolo,Salvador ,Hong Kong,New York,los Angeles and San Francisco The musical repertoire performed by Manganiar musician is both vocal and instrument.Firoze khan manganiar has been playing the dholak ,a double –hended drum ,since a very younge age.The dholak is to used to accompany such instrument as the kamayacha ,sarangi and voice in traditional Manganiar music.The Manganiar specilaze in mota git (large songs) as opposed to chhota git (small songs) shoter and more ritualisted songs. The contexts of their traditional public performance occure mainly at their patron familes life cycles ceremonies ,such as births and wedding.After a slow poetic unmetered, the introduction ,the manganiar musician stretch out the mota git ,Whose richness ,depth and complexity can be quite remarkable.These mota git contain couples or quatrains set in particalar poetic meters.
