Anne Katrine de Hemmer Gudme

Anne Katrine de Hemmer Gudme is a Danish scholar of Biblical Studies. Her research focuses on Hebrew Bible, Ancient Israelite Religion, Ritual studies and ritual Theory, Ritual Texts in the Hebrew Bible, and Votive practice/Votive objects. Her research interest also include food and meals in the Hebrew Bible and ancient Near East and Hospitality in the Hebrew Bible. She currently works as Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible Studies at the University of Copenhagen. She won the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters’ silver medal, which goes to a younger Danish researcher who has achieved excellent results in 2018.[1]
