RAMA CHANDRA NAYAK
[edit]Shri Rama Chandra Nayak is young and bright leader of Odisha living in Jeypore, Koraput District. He is a only son of Late Laichan Nayak, the Ist MLA of Jeypore Assembly constituency who also elected for 10 years in subsequent terms. Mr. Rama Chandra Nayak was born in the year 1968 in Jeypore and he finished his School career in JELC High School Jeypore and there after completed his intermediate in B.R.Ambedkar College Lamtaput. He started his career by joining in a Government job. But he did not satisfy with that job and quite the job to join in the politics. He choose to start his political career by joining Congress party in the year 2004. Since then he has been with the Congress party and within this period he occupied various party posts like Vice President of District Youth Congress of Koraput District, President of SC Cell of DCC Koraput District. He was also the MP Representative to the Ex MP Dr.Giridhar Gamang of Korapout MP constituency. Presently he is also the Executive Body member of SC Department of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee and Secretary of DCC Koraput. He inspired with his father's work in politics from very childhood. He watched very closely his father's dedication. His father the great Leader Late Laichan Nayak was also a freedom fighter. So the blood of a freedom fighter is running in the nerves of Mr.Rama Chandra Nayak. He has been very helpful and caring towards poor people from his childhood. He has been involving himself within the people and worked hard in social level. Looking into his work and dedication the Congress party short listed his name to give the congress ticket for Koraput(SC) constituency in the year 2009 and 2014. Though he did not get the ticket , but he has been working hard for the party. He has great ambition for the undivided Koraput District. People like to see him as his leader.
