Overview[edit]

An American newspaper noted in August 2019 that 'Researchers estimate that women’s stories make up just 0.5 percent of recorded history'.[1]

It is hoped that this page will become an authoritative list of books about women in history, including present-day historical actors.

To be authoritative, it needs your input. Please edit!
