How to find and cite sources on Wikipedia? Search through the academic databases that your institution has access to[citation needed], this will work better than Google research. Editors (yourself included) can challenge unreferenced statements by adding a" [citation needed]" tag in Wiki code, which adds a [citation needed] tag to the statement. Remember, editors may remove unreferenced material on sight, so adding a citation helps prevent your work from being deleted.[3]

When should we cite? Whenever you add information to an article, be sure to include references, you should cite at least once per paragraph you contribute to Wikipedia.[4]
