Dr. Hermann J. Stern is the CEO and principal owner of Obermatt, which he founded in 2001. He developed Obermatt’s method of indexing performance and is responsible for its implementation with corporate clients. He held finance positions at Compaq (Hewlett Packard), Swisscom and UPAQ and is an University lecturer and author of numerous publications. Dr. Stern received his Ph.D. in philosophy and economics from Prof. Peter Ulrich of the Institute of Business Ethics at the University of St. Gallen. Privately, he enjoys time with his wife and two sons, ski-touring, sailing, yoga, martial arts, meditation and nature. He is an honorary president of the HSG Alumni Club Dalenades.
