Sue Ellen Ewing (born Sue Ellen Shepard; formerly Lockwood) is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera, Dallas, played by Linda Gray. She debuted on-screen during the pilot episode on April 2, 1978. She is the daughter of Patricia Shepard and the long-suffering wife of the show's main antagonist, J.R. Ewing.
