Nitasha Kaul (born 30 November) is a Kashmiri writer and artist based in London. She has published several non-fiction essays, short fiction, poetry and also scholarly articles on the themes of identity, economy, gender, social theory, technology, democracy, Kashmir, Bhutan.

''Residue''

Residue is the name of her first novel. It was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize in 2009[3]. Residue was said to be the only unpublished manuscript by a debut woman author that was appreciated in this manner.[4]
