Prof. (Dr.) Hemeswari Bhuyan is presently(2023) a Professor at Royal Global University,Betkuchi, Guwahati, Assam. Prof. Bhuyan completed her early GNM education at Kanaklata Civil Hospital,Tezpur, Graduation and Post Graduation from Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati, Assam and PhD from Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences,Assam in the Department of Community Health Nursing. Having worked as Staff Nurse, demonstrator, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and finally Principal(now Retd.) in Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati, Assam.

Involved in selection and training of ASHA under BPHC Sonapur (2006), conducted Health Mela, Health Awareness Camps, in-service education of Health Professionals.
Supervised and guided various batches of UG especially PG in clinical settings, theoretical and guided their post graduate dissertation.

Completed training on Lifestyle Diseases and Health Promotion (2019) from NIHFW, New Delhi.
Completed Midwifery Leadership Development Program organized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India in 2021.
Engaged in various rounds of selection, training and recruitment of Staff Nurses during Covid-19. Supervised the UG & PG students posted at GMCH to mitigate the crisis as per Instruction from Director of Medical Education assam.
Completed Certificate Course on Public Health Leadership Skills in the Covid-19 era conducted by the Indian Academy of Public Health in 2020.
Editorial board member of the International Journal of Health Research and Medico Legal Practices (IJHRMLP), the only international health journal of Assam under the leadership of Dr. Putul Mahanta HOD Forensic Medicine, Nalbari Medical College.
