Way back 2002 the skaters of Makati City got crazy into their sport which is skateboarding and some of them are from Palanan Makati City. Back then its all about backside boardslide and that’s about it your popular son! [Laughs...] but some of the skaters are newbie who cant even ollie or do a tictac back in the day. After months and months of skating or lets say years of skating they strived but they don’t even know the name of their crew so Ej Cruz the Team Leader of the crew thought that it would be cool to have the name of P.I.S CREW which means “Palanan Inosente Skaters” coz the aggregation of the homies are from Palanan Makati City but some of the crew don’t dig it coz its pretty lame specially Jojo the “Team Manager Kuno” of the crew thinks its terrible. Apparently the name of the crew was discern so a lot of skateboarders called the crew P.I.S CREW but Roy (Team Manager of Padraska) called the crew IPIS CREW to make fun of the crew but it was only a joke and the crew knows it coz he is a good friend actually. After a year or so Efron thought that Roy’s joke was awesome so he started to screech the crew “IPIS CREW” and just added the “I” into the name so it would be called as “Idiocy Palanan Inosente Skaters” unfortunately some of the homies are abominable about the new name so Efron told his brother Rex to make a cool logo like a cockroach with a skateboard on it who’s doing a nollie flip to make it a lot cooler coz Efron remembered that Jojo doesn’t like P.I.S CREW so why not make it I.P.I.S CREW so he would dig that shit. [Laughs...] Actually the crew got hyped when Zoo York made an Ad about some cockroach commercial about their product and its like they just got some inkling from the crew but it was all good coz I.P.I.S CREW loves skateboarding and loves what’s going on in the skateboarding industry and the I.P.I.S homies are here to tell the world that its not just a crew its actually a movement that skaters amalgamate and wants to have fun, chill and just skate all day.
