Ian Korman is currently a member of the executive management team at MASCI - The Management System Certification Institute (Thailand). His official title is Personal Assistant to the President. He provides management and IT assistance to the President as well as the entire organization. Being the only non-Thai member of the staff and the only native English speaker, he also acts as the organizations English expert. He is currently working on projects related to UK CSE (Customer Service Excellence), PEMM (Process and Enterprise Maturity Model), Ideation, Google Apps, ISO 9004, Continuous Customer Management, and CRM.

Ian formerly served in the US Navy for 8 years and was a Senior Networking and Telecommunications Engineer for WorldCom (its Ann Arbor, Michigan ANS Communications acquisition). He has also worked at the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) and as a Program Manager in the TEFL English Field.

Ian has an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. His expertise is in implementing general management theory and standards and he has a strong background in IT (telecommunications, computing, new technologies), project management, and training.

Ian's main contributions to the WIKI project will be in the topic areas of business management theories and Thailand organizations. If you have any questions about the organization of the government in Thailand or Thai government standards please feel free to contact Ian for assistance.
