Article Review

Ellen McLain has been one of my vocal coaches for about 3 years now, she is a famous voice actress known for video games such as PORTAL and PORTAL 2. Considering the fact that I know her personally, I decided to give this page a look and found some spots within the article where I saw I could add some greater detail those areas include: Personal Life, Career, and Filmography.

Personal Life

The Personal Life Information on the Ellen McLain article was lacking. The only information that was mentioned was about her husband and his works. Considering the fact that I know her, I added that she teaches vocal technique and performance at theatres local to her. There wasn't a way for me to link a source, unless I was to link the actual theatre group's website and I didn't want to disclose personal info about the actual location for Ellen's privacy.

Career

The Career Information on the actrile included her works in gaming, as well as film. All information was clear and accurate. I added some additional information however about one of Ellen's films: Winning Dad. I also included some background on Ellen's YouTube channel

Filmography

I noticed that this section was accurate for the information that it had on it. (I asked Ellen personally and did research to confirm). However, I noticed a credit that was missing, so I simply filled it in the table. I added a credit into the 2017 section of the table, she appeared in a video on YouTube playing her recurring and infamous GLaDOS.

Summary

Overall, This page was decent, The information that was provided was accurate, however there is a lot of information that could be added. Some of the areas I would consider "weak" as in there are only a few pieces of information provided. Citations were clear and correct as well. I may have to go back in as I talk to Ellen more, it's a good page that deserves rich Information!
