He was one of greatest generals of Democratic Republic of Georgia During 1918-1921

He was leading Georgian army during Georgian-Armenian War,Sochi conflict,Battle of Guria,Battle of Adjara.

He is responsible for retaking Abkhazia and taking Nikopsia from Kuban and also fought against Ossetians in Rebbelion of Ossetia and won.
