Ignacio Manuel Urbina Polo (born September 5, 1963, in Caracas) is a Venezuelan-Italian industrial designer, professor, and curator. He resides in Brooklyn and serves as the Director of the Department of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in New York.
Early life and education
[edit]Ignacio Urbina Polo was born in Caracas on September 5, 1963. He studied at the San Antonio de los Altos Community School and completed high school at the San José High School in Los Teques. He pursued Industrial Design at the Antonio José de Sucre Institute of Technology in Venezuela and obtained a master's degree in Product Engineering from the Faculty of Production Engineering and Systems at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil.
