Article title: Coprinus comatus
Article Evaluation
The introduction to this article is relatively descriptive however it discusses the type of environment that the mushrooms grow in but doesn't give a location as far as to what countries or states the plant is found in. It only includes one image, has 14 sources some of which do not work. It does not list the environments that the mushrooms tend to grow in or how the impact an ecosystem. The article is written from a neutral point of view, and the article touches on several types of information in regards to the fungus but lacks in some areas, like talking about the side effects of eating bad mushrooms or the medicinal properties they contain.

Option 2[edit]

Article title: Ptilium crista-castrensis
Article Evaluation: The introduction to this article is very vague, it only includes the scientific name of the moss, what family, class, subclass and order it falls in. It doesn't describe any of the visual features of the moss or specific locations on where it can be found. The article provides very little information about the plant overall. It only has one section on its ecology, talking about examples of types of areas the moss grows in but not discussing how it impacts the ecosystem and environment as well as the benefits or drawbacks of the moss. Additionally the article only has two cited references.

Option 3[edit]

Article title: Baptisia alba
Article Evaluation:
The introduction to this article is fairly thorough in introducing the species, the family it lies in and the locations the plant can be found. The visual description of the plant is also throughout. However the article is lacking in explanation of the type of environments where the plant can be found, and does not discuss anything about how it reproduces. The point of view of this article is neutral, and they include pictures that showcase what the plant looks like, but the explanations of the ecology of the plant and its toxicity are relatively vague.
