Ivan Eric Rudolph Linton Jr.(born on May 25, 1983) also known as Von and Inspekta is an American artist, business owner, and entrepreneur and was born in Miami, Florida USA. His parents gave birth to him at Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, Fl where he came out as a healthy 8 lbs. baby. Linton was born to Jamaican immigrant parents father, Ivan Linton Sr. and mother, Dawn Patricia Linton. Also he came from a big family of 2 sisters Lashonda Linton and Shari Linton, 1 brother Jordon Linton, 2 half sisters Stacie Linton and Latoya Linton and 1 half brother Levar Linton.

Ivan Linton Jr. grew up in Miami,Fl but frequently visited Kingston, Jamaica to stay with his grandparents Ditta Linton and Roy Linton and was raised there a portion of his childhood. His parents were hard workers and sometimes had up to two or three jobs at a time. With an entrepreneurial spirit Linton's father and mother owned their own and the first Jamaican Restaurant in Miami called Jamaica Products Inc which turned out to be very successful in which they made a series of connections and substantial amount of money. His father Ivan Linton Sr. also started another business called Tropic Juices Inc. where he came out with his own brand of All natural drinks called Atomic. Growing up in sunny Miami, Fl his family was fortunate enough to make enough money to buy a couple properties and lived in both a modest home in the Colonial Heights area and another home in a Miami suburb called the Falls.

Linton attended primary school at Gloria Floyd Elementary School where he finished first and second grades. From there his mother decided to enroll him into a Magnet school called Sunset Elementary in South Miami Fl where Linton specialized in International Studies and learning the Spanish language fluently. This Magnet program carried him throughout Elementary, Middle and High School and became one of the only Magnet programs in the nation to do so. This opportunity gave Linton and many others the chance to meet many different people from there and around the world. The IS Magnet program allowed Linton to take trips to Spain and gave him a chance to explore foreign cultures and practices. In Spain he visited various cities including: Madrid, Valencia, Castilla de Leon, Barcelona, Toledo, Zaragoza, Castilla de La Mancha, Seville, and Andalucia to name a few. Traveling through Spain he also did foreign exchange, which placed him in several different homes throughout the country, where he met and stayed with families, learned and practiced Spaniard Traditions.

After that in 1993 Linton went on to George Washington Carver Middle school in Coconut Grove Fl and continued the International Studies Magnet program. There gave him the opportunity to broaden his horizons and learn more about Spanish life and the Spanish culture. This was a different school and very distinguished because of the reputation that it upheld. In Carver Linton believed that it was one of the most important times in his life because the door opened for him in many ways. As an honor roll student he was very popular and stayed active in school, clubs and sports. This also introduced him to some of my lifelong list of distinguished friends and school classmates like Jonathan Vilma of the NFL's New Orleans Saints and Antonio Bryant of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Around this time Linton went to Spain two more times and was able to travel to Italy, France and Monaco as well.

In 1997 once Linton left middle school he went on to finish up the International Studies Magnet program at Coral Reef High School in Richmond Heights Fl. This was another important time in his life because his class was the first class to be in conjunction with a new program called the International Baccalaureate program as well so in turn when he finished and completed High School he would get both diplomas. Throughout High School he was very studious. Linton joined some of the school clubs such as The Caribbean Club, African American club and Geography Club to occupy his time. He was also lucky enough to join the Coral Reef Basketball team as a forward position for his junior and senior years. In his senior year he decided that he wanted to continue his education after High School and after applying to several different Colleges and Universities he finally enrolled into Florida International University.

After graduating High School in July of 2001 with an International Studies/ International Baccalaureate Diploma and speaking fluently in Spanish, Linton had a variety of options in regards to what major he would declare in College. He went undeclared for two years and then decided to major in a Health Sciences(Pre- Physical Therapy) degree. In 2006 Linton graduated Florida International University with a Bachelors of Science in his degree but still had questions about what he wanted to do and where he wanted to work after college. Briefly he attended Graduate school at Florida International University to earn a Doctorates degree in Health Sciences. After going to Graduate School for a year and a half, Linton worked at Kendall Regional Hospital doing a part time Physical Therapy Aid job to earn some money while still in school.

After working a couple more jobs at Direct TV, HEYS USA, and at time doing side work for his parents respective companies, Linton told myself that he did not want to work for anybody anymore and focused on opening up his own business while in school. In 2007 Linton then created his own clothing line called Square Rootz Clothing Co., which he opened up with the VP and his cousin Francis Forbes. In October of 2008 by unusual circumstances my father Ivan Linton Sr. got deported back to Jamaica. In response to the emergency Linton had to discontinue going to school and stepped up to take over the family company Tropic Juices Inc. located in Doral Fl. In 2011 he took some of the profits from the Tropic Juices Inc. company and then opened up my own marketing firm, Square Rootz Marketing Group Inc., which is the parent company behind all of his businesses today.
