From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

IrisColumbine is interested in pages about genealogy, Scottish history, Celtic music, education reform, and social media. She has been editing pages on these subjects, including Lady Jean Gordon (1546-1629), Countess of Bothwell and Sutherland. Recently, Iris mentioned and sourced the consensus that the lady of Salterhill (the wife of Alexander Gordon) was probably Jean's daughter or granddaughter, based on the fact that Salterhill was first conveyed to Jean's son, Sir Robert Gordon of Gordonstown.

Pending procurement and review of a manuscript which should provide the confirmation she needs, Iris plans to add information about a tenth child of Rev. James Waddell, "the Blind Preacher" of Colonial Virginia, on said Rev. Waddell's page.

On the education and social media side of her interests, IrisColumbine is working on an article for the learning website Memorize.com. She is still getting her sources in order, but welcomes feedback.
