Corporate Information Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) is a national public company under the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, established in 2002 to successfully push ahead with Jeju Free International City development projects in accordance with the Special Act on Jeju Free International City.

Jeju Island aims to make a leap forward as a 'global Number 1' city, which differs from other cities by fostering advanced industries such as tourism, medical, education and clean manufacturing. JDC is planning and executing six core projects and five strategic projects, which are seen as the most urgent task to foster core industries.

Vision & Mission

Jeju will possess the pleasant and rich appearance of the Free International City centering on mankind, environment and knowledge by the year of completing its first phase in 2011. Free International City frequented freely by the settled population of about 600,000 and 10 million tourists, and applied best with the logic of free market economy through assurance of corporate activities for investors’ benefits.
