Preliminary Research AerodyNamic Design To Lower Drag (PRANDTL-D) is a series of subscale research aircraft designed by Al Bowers at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center to test applications of a Bell Shaped Lift Distribution (BSLD) based on Ludwig Prandtl's 1933 paper.
