About me

In a career spent developing and managing large-scale, high-profile digital publications, I've worked with some of the most respected names in news and, in particular, nonprofit media, including NPR, The Wall Street Journal, ABC News and KQED, San Francisco. I have a master's degree in interactive media from NYU's ITP program. After many years in exile on the East Coast, I'm delighted to be back in my native Bay Area, and to have the opportunity to continue my work in public-interest publishing at the Wikimedia Foundation.

My work

From the Library of Alexandria to the present, the humanist dream of a comprehensive storehouse of useful knowledge echoes through the ages. I’m proud to be a part of the Wikimedia Foundation’s Collaboration team, where I help lead development of new tools that empower Wikimedians around the globe as they create history's most comprehensive and widely consulted encyclopedia.
