JUDAHBETHEL†[edit]
Judahbethel† is a Christian gospel band from North-eastern states of Tripura, India. The band officially began in 2008 by five closed friends, Fuihsa AJ Msa, Jain Molsoi, John Toisouh Apeto, Den Jacob Chorkhi and Zaka Taumayakcho. All the members of the band accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
The Beginning of the Band
The Band began with the dreams of Fuihsa AJ Msa and Jain Molsoi, in early 2000's, while they were at their high school in Shillong. They stayed in a rented home together, where they would talk hours about music, plans and possibilities of the forming a rock/heavy metal band, writes songs and create music. Music was the taste of their friendship. They were called by names for their dreams of music. Many a times, they were advised by their parents to take up studies seriously over music, counseled that those were just the teenage dreams, and nothing could be live out of it, but their taste and desire for music never left them. They were influence by the bands like Guns and Roses, Firehouse, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Linkin Park, Creed, Scorpion, Bon Jovi, etc.
Dreams Unfulfilled
However, their life was shattered with their failures in studies; failing to their parents' expense on them for good education, their influence on drugs and habits. Soon, their dreams were shattered for their focus in studies, as their parents demanded. Eversince, Fuihsa and Jain began their plan for music, they have no good support system. They would run after their closed friends to join them in music class and to start a band. Many of their friends gave them a positive hope but never into their actions. Finally, they left aside their dreams of music over the reality of life. Their dreams of forming a rock metal band to be named, "HIGH VOLTAGE" became a dreams unturned to deeds.
Dreams Reconsidered
Their life changes after they committed their life to God, and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Even in their long distance friendship, music was still their talk about conversation over the net and phone for Jain and Fuihsa. Now they left the bad worldly music and considered for something religious and spiritual acceptable biblically, socially and for church as a whole. Jain, spent a short period of time as a bassist (though his dream was to be a lead guitarist, but he would do any compromise for music since he is so handy with guitar) with the local gospel team "Hampanda" and left later to spend more time with his studies.
Meanwhile, Fuihsa dedicated his life for God's ministry and joined seminary for theological training at Kerala, South India, where he met his childhood friend, John Toisouh Apeto, who is skillful talents in guitar. Soon they formed a band, "The Elite Band" with their friends, but Fuihsa left the college after a year for his further studies. With years of unfulfilled dreams, Fuihsa left his music dreams and concentrate more in his theological studies. He left music while he was in New Life College, Bangalore. No friends of him knew about his desire for music during his studies at Bangalore. But in 2008 (after 5 years of failing dreams), Fuihsa contact his friends, Jain and John for the possibilities of forming a Christian worship/Gospel Band. They officially agreed, and Den Jacob showed his interest with his drums skills to joined the band. Later, Zaka T.Yakcho joined as a second guitarist in the band. Never to forget, Jain surrender his dreams to become a lead guitarist as the band is in need of bassist and only he could do that.
However it took another four years for them to come up with the official gig of the band with live concert, since they are busy with their studies and all of them are studying in the different places - Bangalore, Kerala, Shillong and Agartala. Prior to their first live concert, Annex Molsoi, closed friends to all the band members and Ashok Reang, dedicated themselves for the managing the band.

Music and Concerts
Judahbethel wanted to use their music for reaching out the lost younger generation for Christ. Their purpose of the band is to reach the lost with the clear Gospel message of hope and salvation in Jesus Christ. In the Northeastern culture, many youths showed a little or no interests in the church activities, and if anything you come with the program and they realized that it from the church or anything religious they are far from it. So, Judahbethel decided to bring them together through gospel music, which is the language and taste of those teenagers, and give them the gospel message from God's Word. Music to them is for the cause of God's glory.
They organized live concerts and gospel campaigns, especially for the Youth. Judahbethel is more focused in English and Kau Bru version of songs and their genre stays with Christian rock and worship, as to balance to the need and taste of the youth. But all their songs are written to declare God's glory and for the betterment of the society. Some of their best songs includes, "Salthangnaiha Khashraye Tanglai Sina" (from the same-titled album), "Kchusoiyang Ang No", "Ishor ni Bsala Probu Jisu", "Gristi Bsala", "Christmas Canon" (Feat. Udai Bru, and many more. They organized free live concerts for the cause of reaching the youth and encourage the young people to take up music and form bands. They also help other talented people, singers, bands, teams and encourage them to share the stage with their talents.
Dreams for Tomorrow Most of the band members are in their studies and they are available only once in a year for concerts. They are looking forward for the recording project, mission project with some reknown ministries. They have plans to built their tribe and society by forming a JUDAHBETHEL GROUP OF MINISTRIES in near future, and those plans were already in progress. All the band members are interested and dedicated for God's ministry.
