S.T.G
[edit]my aim is to start a Sanity Task Group (S.T.G.) with the purpose of bringing sanity back to wikipedia. as editors, we have all seen irrelavent, biased, ridiculous and down-right idiotic edits made to wikipedia, that are supported by the current "administration" - i.e. out-of-touch editors that somehow have been granted admin powers. a glaring example of this is the current selection of featured articles - notice how a gross number of these articles are about benign video games or other irrelevant, similar topics. if anyone is of similar, sane-mind, i urge you to help me start a group that will challenge and defeat this unsavoury facet of wikipedia, and turn the project back into something we can all respect. let us reclaim wikipedia from the fanboys! other areas/topics of wikipedia that are "lacking in sanity"
[edit]-whenever a global crisis or event occurs, some editors find it necessary to include global "reactions" from countries all around the world - even from ones that have no relevance whatsoever to the current situation. a typical symptom of this is seeing multiple country flags on an article's page, from countries that are not stakeholders in any way, shape, or form to the issue at hand. this would be like the nation of chad commenting on the 2009-10 american fiscal budget. i invite you all, kindly, to add more examples of areas "lacking in sanity".
