Omundudu

Omundudu is a village located in Ohangwena Region (Oukwanyama), Namibia. Omundudu is one of the biggest villages in Ohangwena Region, and it is surrounded by other villages like: Omhangela (which is 1km away), Oshali (2km away), Elao (3km away), Ondeshifiilwa (4km away), Oshimwaku (5km away), Endola (6km away), Epuku (7km away), Omungwelume (which is 7km away), Iiputu (9km away), Oshikwiyu (9km away), and many other villages around Omundudu. The nearest town from Omundudu village is Oshakati which is 30km away, in the South direction from Omundudu. This is the town where most of the Omundudu people buys their goods and services, because there are no big shops/services in Omundud village to satisfy the people's needs and wants. Omundudu village has a very big forest which makes it more earsier for the people to get thier building materials and fuel from a very short distance, because wood is the main fuel and building material used in Omundundu and nearby villages. Lucklly, there are no predators in that forest to hurm happyness of Omundudu People. There is a church in Omundudu (Omundudu Elcin Church) which was build long time ago and still people from Omundudu and nearest villages are using that church. Apart from that, there is also a government school in Omundudu called Omundudu Combined School (named after the village in which it is located) whereby most of the children from Omundudu village as well as children from nearest villages go for education. Omundudu Combined School has grades from 1-10 and is not a hostel school, children have to go to school in the morning from their houses and back to their houses again in the evening every day.
