[edit]Velayat TV USA is a Shi'a Muslim TV Channel that is operating in Northern California to service and provide Shi'a Islamic Lectures and knowledge to the Shi'a Communities of the United States and Canada. Velayat TV USA was started by Molana Syed Zaheer Ul Hassan Naqvi in 2008 after he left the Noor TV station and on December 17th 2008 ( 18th of Dhilhajj, Eid e Ghadeer day) Velayat TV was launched and is the first ever Urdu and English Islamic religion channel in North America. Velayat TV's programs will include, but are not limited to, lectures by prominent scholars, debates and discussions, Talk shows, Youth programs, Documentaries, Tafseer, Du’as for the days of the week including Dua e Kumayl, Dua e tawassul, Dua e Nudba etc. Velayat TV can be viewed live through the internet at www.velayattv.org or watch us on satellite with no monthly or yearly fees on Satellite: Galaxy 19
