Jason Farkas, renowned singer of the indie prog-rock group Recalcitrance, was born in Manhattan on November 2, 1985. Farkas' impeccable vocal talent became apparent at an early age. He quickly became a singing sensation, his roots firmly latched to the town of Eastchester, New York. His loving parents, Raymond and Jessica Farkas encouraged his progenic talent. "He would always sing around the house and it sounded professional. We always wanted our son to express himself and now he's doing something he loves. We're so proud". Jason's drummer and longtime friend Ian Carroll had this to say: "Jason is a powermongering megolomaniac. The spotlight was always fixated on him and we never got any exposure".
