I am a male of age 40 from India. I am mainly into Logistics Business and have some interest in Stock Markets.

I joined wikipedia in Feb 2015 after being an avid reader of its articles for last 15+ years. I thought maybe i can contribute to it as i have seen thousands of other people doing it without expecting any remunaration in return. This is a small part of my contributing to society.

I started creating some pages in Apr 2016. Being in Trucking/Logistics business i am always fascinated by Indian Railways.

I found that there are many pages related to Indian Railways Stations & Trains which are inadequate, blank, redirected or incompete. I will try to correct them as much as i know.

A note to all senior wikipedians / readers : Please notify me of my miskates as i am not very good at coding etc. It is just my passion that is driving me.

Hi Jain, thanks for deciding to help out with Wikipedia. I came across your article on Jammu Garib Rath and while its well written and comprehensive I don't think it will survive over the long term. If you think certain stations or routes are especially notable or have some referenceable history then write about them by all means. Including the actual timetables is asking for trouble however as nobody can guarantee that they'll remain accurate. It would be better to include links to the actual tables run by the rail companies themselves. I'd suggest focusing on the more interesting when/where/why/hows of these items rather than mechanical details.

I.e.  Station XYZ was created in 1896 to bridge the gap between X and Y and was built by company Z. It served as a critical supply route for potatoes during the famine of 1905 but the introduction of special locomotives made it more efficient than using station RWQ.  The main receiving hall burned down in 1932 and was rebuilt using potato skins and cabbage stalks and it has become a notable site for wedding proposals and polka contests..    etc..
