Jason Wright

Jason Nathaniel Wright born on December 26 1994 is a Jamaican professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Molynes United FC in Jamaica Premier League.

College Career

Wright played for Rutgers University (New Brunswick) for three years scoring 29 goals and adding 13 assists in 57 matches. Professional Career

Cavalier SC

Wright joined Cavalier in 2018 for the first half of the Premier League season after which he headed to Europe.

Humble Lion

In the 2019/2020 Jamaica Premiere league season Wright represented Humble Lion before the Coronavirus brought the league and football in Jamaica to a haul for almost two years.

CS Mioveni

Wright signed with Romanian Liga1 outfit CS Mioveni in the winter transfer window of 2022.[1]

Molynes United

In the summer of 2022, Wright would sign with Molynes United. He played the entire 2022/2023 Jamaica Premier League and finished the season with 14 goals and 7 assists in 24 matches.https://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/sports/20230424/new-high-molynes-united

International Career

In February 2011 Wright represented Jamaica at the Concacaf U 17's championships where he was instrumental in his country qualifying for the FIFA U 17's World Cup for the second time in the country's history. [2] Wright was joined as the leading Goal scorer of the tournament with 4 goals from 5 matches.[3]Later that year, Wright represented his country at the 2011 U17 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

Jason Wright was a member of the 2012 Jamaica's U 20 men's squad for the CFU Championships.[4]

In March 2015, Jason Wright represented Jamaica U 23's in a match against the Cayman Island national senior team at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay in preparation for Olympic Qualifiers. [5]
