Minivegas

Minivegas are a collective of live action and animation directors.They met at university, where they began collaborating with each other on various film projects. After completing their Masters, they moved to London to pursue a joint career in directing.Their first video was created for Plaid whilst working long nights at Glassworks, one of London's leading post production houses. They then completed a shocking charity commercial for Live 8, showing the deterioration of a healthy boy who becomes severely malnourished.Since then they have been prolific, creating videos for artists such as Bloc Party, Test Icicles, John Cale and Elektrons. They were nominated for Best New Directors at the 2006 CADS and were selected to appear in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' Showcase at Cannes 2007.Their Qashqai car viral films for Nissan won 2 Clio awards.They run an art gallery next to their office in Shoreditch called Vegas gallery which showcases and supports new artists' work. Their more recent work includes music videos for indie hero, Daniel Johnson and Mercury Prize nominee, Maps along with eye-catching Virals for NEC. They have just completed ground-breaking idents for the TV channel, S4C and a commercial for GQ magazine entitled 'The Perfect Man'.
