James Bruce Carver (born 15 August 1969, Farnborough, Kent) is a UKIP politician and is in second position on UKIP's West Midlands list fo the 2014 European Elections.

Joining UKIP in May 1996, he has held many roles within the party. and was a candidate in the following elections:

1997 Parliamentary Candidate, Orpington Constituency. 1999 European Parliamentary Candidate, London. 2001 Parliamentary Candidate, Cheltenham Constituency. 2005 Parliamentary Candidate, Preseli Pembrokeshire Constituency.

A former member of the Royal Marines Reserve (City of London) and 1/51 Highland Volunteers (London Scottish), he played Rugby Union for both Old Beccahamians RFC and the London Scottish Regt.

His late wife Carmen (married 1998, died 2009), suffrered from Scleroderma. He is a fundraiser and supporter of the Scleroderma Society, including running his first marathon - London, in 2012, on their behalf.

He is a self employed bespoke umbrella maker.
