Illumini Events
Illumini is a not for profit organisation, that provides free unique illuminating art events , for the public's enjoyment. Artist's that are showcased all work with light as their media and can range from professional artists to students.Art works range form 2D tosculpture and art installations.
Illumini changes the way of exhibiting, moving away from traditional white walled galleries, to unique,unusual and atmospheric spaces. Famous for using an underground crypt, for their first event. They have no Private view, but a grand opening, where everyone is welcome. The free opening nights consist of a festival atmosphere, with performers working with light, from fire performers, illuminating juggling, light shows and stilt walkers.
Illumini was founded in September 2008, with the first event at St Pancras Church Crypt. The opening night attract over 3,000 guests and during the duration of the event a total of 7,145 guest travelled into London to view this unusual art experience.

Apart from the Events that take place, the organisation works as a resource centre on line for artists, with information on funding, networking and opportunities. They work with artist's in promoting their practice through their events and on-line directory. Including press interviews and reviews, sales and commissions
