JaneLied is the pseudonym for writer and poet Sabaah Z. Jauhar-Rizvi. She was born 30, October 1980 in Winfield, IL to Elizabeth S. Yarrington and H. Syed Jauhar-Rizvi. She has an Associates in Arts in English & Geology (2002) from William Rainey Harper College [1], a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre (2005) from Concordia University-Chicago [2], and a Master's in Theatre with a concentration in Costume Design (2013) from Kansas State University [3]. She also attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign [4] from 2009-2011 in the MFA Costume Design Program. She had over 30+ hours of History courses at the Graduate level as a result.

One poem was published in Motif, Concordia University-Chicago's literary Magazine in 2005. Another was published in a collection of poetry in 2006. She has currently finished her first novel and is querying literary agents. She also has submitted a few poems for publication for the year 2018.

She is lucky enough to list amongst her friends such wonderful people as Daniel Hoffman-Gill[5], Gregory Jones[6], Zach Serafin [7],the sublimely talented Neala Barron[8], and the wonderfully supportive Leila Henry[9].

She had been honored to have been under the tutelage of some the best US based Theatre Academics: Peter A. Davis[10], Kathy A. Perkins [11], Sally Bailey [12].

She considers herself extremely lucky to continue to learn from her friends and historians: Kyle A. Thomas[13], Scott Harman [14], and Rachel Price Cooper [15].
