Otshikuku is a village in the Uukwambi district of the Omusati region in northern Namibia.The village is habitat to around 25000 people of the Kwambi tribe and is well-known throughout the country for the Oshikuku massacre which claimed thousands of lifes during the colonial era in March 1982.Otshikuku was the first settlement of the Roman Catholic missioners in Namibia. The village have around 4 schools, a Roman Catholic church and a hospital, currently its rapidly developing into a town.The village is also famous for its huge baobab trees which attracts many tourists from all around the globe.Otshikuku have been one of the worst flood hit area in the past three years.--Jarno h. unovene (talk) 08:00, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
