My name is Joelan Brillo. I was born in Baao Camarines Sur, studied in Baao and Naga City, and presently living in Los Angeles CA with my wife and two children.

My main interests are Bicol history and literature. I was one of the original members of the Bicol List (Bicol-L) which was active in 1996-2000. The Bicol-L is considered one of the pioneering Filipino Internet mailing lists.
