I am a PhD student working in molecular plant pathology at the University of Edinburgh. I currently work on understanding the regulation of stress signalling in plants.

Having worked in academic and industry research settings in the plant pathology field, I have seen great research generated, but stuck in the lab or in papers where access is very limited. This has resulted in a keen interested in the dissemination of knowledge gathered in academic and research settings to those who it will help. I have been able to work with organisations such CABI who aim to help achieve this and who are currently trying widen their reach even further by updating Wikipedia pages of crop pests and diseases.
