Jean-Claude Lucien, born 8 April 1959, pen name J.C. Lucien, is an African-American of Haitian origin, and is the author of "SECRETS OF THE HIDDEN TRUTHS". Jean-Claude was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1959, and went to Canada, and then New York City, while he was a youth. While living in New York City, Jean-Claude was inspired by Eddy Murphy, and wanted to go to school to study acting, and Hollywood was his chosen destination. But first, he had to work for various companies and for low wages in order to get the money for the move and to pay for his acting education. In 1986, Jean-Claude left New York City and went to Los Angeles, California, to fulfill his acting dream. But the dream would turn into a nightmare. Before Jean-Claude started going to the acting school, he bought an old, ugly 1971 Chevy van, which was black, but had gray primer covering dents on 95 percent of its body. Jean-Claude paid $800 for that van. One day, on Jean-Claude's first trip to the school, the van broke down in a neighborhood that was not frequented by too many African-Americans. The van was packed with all of Jean-Claude's belongings, because he also slept in it. While Jean-Claude had on his suit and tie, he waited outside of the van, hoping that somebody would come along and help him. When Jean-Claude spotted a police car heading toward him, he felt relieved because he thought the police was coming to help him. But instead, the police and his partner jumped out of the car all of a sudden with their guns drawn, and they began to scream at Jean-Claude; "put your hands up, don't move, turn around slowly and pull your shirt up!" So while the cops searched Jean-Claude, a second police car arrived, then a third, then a fourth, a fifth, etc. So, before Jean-Claude knew it, he was surrounded by more than fifteen police cars, drug sniffing dogs, and there was a police helicopter directly over the scene. Every corner of Jean-Claude's body was searched for drugs and guns, and the cops threatened to shoot Jean-Claude if he made any move. When the body search produced nothing, they decided to go inside the van and search it. So they threw all of Jean-Claude's belongings on the ground and they had the dogs sniffing everywhere in the van for drugs. Meanwhile, the police kept asking Jean-Claude if he was a gang member, a drug dealer, etc. So when all the searches turned negative, they left, and Jean-Claude remained alone with a broke down van, and a pile of clothes and other belongings getting soaked in the rain, because it started to rain during the searches. After Jean-Claude managed to get the van going, he drove away from that neighborhood. The next day, Jean-Claude decided to drive the van to the acting school and the same scenario occurred again with the police. This time the van did not break down, but the police just pulled Jean-Claude over again and searched him again. So Jean-Claude continued to go to the acting school. But after the constant pull overs by the LAPD, each time Jean-Claude saw a police car behind him, he pulled himself over before the police did, and the police just walked to him. One day, while Jean-Claude sat in the acting school on Cahuenga Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood, California, Jean-Claude realized that he was at the wrong place, he should instead be out there in the real world and paying attention to the real world’s problems instead of chasing the wind in a fantasy world. So therefore, Jean-Claude left Los Angeles and went to Florida Metropolitan University. While at FMU, Jean-Claude's professor nicknamed him “Opinionated”, because his essays were always controversial and based upon issues that are politically, religiously, socially, and historically incorrect. Jean-Claude also went to Central Florida Institute for a bit of medical education that is so marginal, he says he keeps it for himself.
