Jericho - 2005 is the first part of a four - part series currently being written by Robert Manry. The Books are about an alternate reality, in when the Soviet Union never collapsed.

The "2005" comes from the book, when in March 17, 2005, the Soviets invade U.S. soil in Seattle, Washington.

Plot

The story begins in August 17, 1989. The introduction takes place in Berlin, Germany. a massive protest is on the western side of the Berlin Wall, when suddenly a large section of the wall falls, the nearby Soviet soldiers are overwelmed with protestors. suddenly, a few Soviet HIND helicopters appear and begin to enguage the protestors and NATO soldiers. Soon more Soviet Platoons arrive, led by Commander Dimitri.The battle begins to shift in all different ways, untill the soviets push twards the NATO HQ and neutralize it with a Tacticle Nuke.

The story then goes to Prypiat, Ukraine. a battalion of Russian Spetsnaz from the 72nd Spetsnaz battalion are holding off agains US Navy SEALS untill they can destroy the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. the Soviets are able to succeed via Tactical Nuke. The Nuke Destroys both the Soviet Spetsnaz and the Navy SEALS.

In March 17, 2005, the Soviet decides that its time to go on the offensive. They launch a massive Amphibious assault on Seattle, Washington, USA.

From there they begin taking most of the US West coast. The offensive then starts in Mexiso, where they take the country easily. They then begin to take up most of the south - west, including Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Washington along with other states.

After several demonstrations, the US decides to destroy all of the occupation force. they first start by unleashing a Massive Nuclear launch on some of Russia, then the Soviet - Held Seattle, Killing millions of US and USSR citizens alike.

After several battles, the US takes back its own Soil, but they realize that the war will still continue for years in the Pacific and Europe.

Robert Manry also plans on making other Jericho Books, such as "Jerich - Seattle: Post-Nuke"
