Větruše

Větruše is one of the most admirable monuments of the town Usti nad Labem. In past it was called Ferdinand´s Lookout and sometimes it was called the Petrin of the Ústí Region. The Větruše building is situated on the rocky projection and provides visitors with a wonderful view of The River Elbe, the Bohemians Highlands, The Krušné Mountains and the city itself. Its historic features reflect the style of life at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. The building Větruše consists of the main building, surroundings and a 30m tall tower, which is used as an observation tower. . The main building attracts people with an outlook terrace, where you can enjoy a meal and a wonderful view at the same time. Inside the building there is a large hall that is used especially for business conferences, weddings or other special occasions. The surrounding is mainly visited for a maze and a mirror labyrinth and sports ground with two tennis courts and a multi-purpose basketball, volleyball and football-tennis court.
