Jesse Gates

Early Life

Jesse Gates was born November 10, 1995 in Buffalo New York, to parents Matt Gates and Dawn Gates. As a child he suffered in grades one through eight. With poor grades and poor attendance, school was a struggle. At the age of 15 he applied to Middle Early College High School and was accepted to a group of 83 out of several hundred children. In freshman year he got a 98 on the New York State Biology Exam and he referred to it as "Life Changing" because he decided to improve his grades through hard-work and commitment

Hobbies or Pastimes

As a kid Jesse enjoyed; camping with his dad, fishing, along with computer games and learning his fathers trade of construction. He later found a love for the arts, learning; airbrushing, painting, drawing, guitar, and bass which he played in a band with his friends Richard and Spencer Holy and Arron (Air Bud) Duffy. As a bassist his primary influence was Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. One of his closest friends Spencer Holy taught him the basics of guitar, bass, and music. Spencer Holy, and his brother Richard, formed a band with gates in 2010. In august of 2013 Arron Duffy joined the band as second guitarist. The group has become great friends, who, go on great adventures to do things like go to guitar center or bubble tea, a favorite pastime of the band.

Personal Life

Jesse Gates is currently in a relationship with Patricia Getchell. They currently reside in Buffalo, New York; Gates' hometown.

Favorite foods and drinks; Pizza, Tacos, "Buffalo Style Wings", Red Hots, Dr. Pepper, Bubble Tea, and Loganberry Drink. Favorite teams; The Buffalo Sabres, The Boston Bruins, and Syracuse Orange. Favorite Colors; Green and Purple.
