Cellini Spiral

[edit]

According to Bead & Button Magazine, the Cellini Spiral evolved from a technique presented by Virginia Blakelock and Carol Perrenoud. [1] The stitch is named in honor of the 16th century sculpture Benvenuto Cellini.

A form of the peyote stitch, the cellini spiral is created by adding different size seed beads, always adding the same seed bead as was just exited.
